Logistics CoordinatorPrimary Location: VancouverEmployee Status: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: CAD $48,000 to $50,000 per yearBRIDGEMANS SERVICES GROUP (BSG)Global provider of workforce floatels and marine services. BSG customizes services to the exact needs and locations of clients, ensuring solutions meet precise specifications, including logistics, crew transfers, housekeeping, catering, and the fulfillment of all HSE requirements.OverviewSummary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Logistics Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:ResponsibilitiesAssist the Operations Manager and Project Administrator with crew rotations and scheduling for Bridgemans vessels, ensuring transportation logistics are organized efficiently and in a cost-effective manner, and are communicated to team members.Support the Project Administrator in facilitating onboarding and offboarding formalities for team members across the project, including documentation, site access requirements, uniform issuance/collection, etc.Oversee operations at the Richmond and Vancouver operations areas, coordinating with all stakeholders, ensuring that service and logistics is provided according to contract and to Bridgemans service standards.Maintain reports, logs and paperwork according to the Operations Manager's direction, performing periodic reviews to ensure accuracy.Coordinate the movement of passenger and supply vessels according to schedule, anticipating the needs of team members and clients.Arrange for the receipt and shipment of goods and supplies to both the Richmond and Vancouver operations areas, keeping budgets and logistical efficiencies in the forefront.Identify potential problems, conflicts, and technical delays, presenting solutions for rectification.Ensure that materials are supplied, and assigned tasks are completed in the allotted time.Support the Bridgemans Construction team by supervising and ensuring that work is meeting the provided quality and safety standards.The procurement and delivery of equipment and materials for Bridgemans vessels, acting as the primary contact for suppliers.Present construction project reports to the project team as required.Practice and maintain the highest level of health, safety, environmental, and quality practices, according to Bridgemans safety management system.Manage the reporting process with on-site subcontractors during the construction phase.Stay up to date with industry regulations related to crew management, transportation, and safety.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsPrior experience as a Project Administrator/Coordinator (or similar role) will be an added on.Valid British Columbia Drivers License with a clean driver's abstract is a mustExceptional comprehension and command of the English language (written and verbal)Highly organized and able to work independently, with limited direct supervisionAbility to multitask and prioritize competing tasksExcellent customer service experienceAbility to foster and maintain positive interactions with fellow team members, clients, and vendorsValid Forklift Operator Certification is a mustExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint is an assetStrong knowledge of the Canadian marine industry is an assetMarine and/or construction experience is an assetValid STCW95 certification will be an add on (VI/1, 2 & 6)Physical Aspects of PositionConstant standing and walking throughout the shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting #J-18808-Ljbffr
