Job Description The Fire Alarm Technician is a motivated, organized, and personable individual providing quality service to customers. This role involves leadership responsibilities, including mentoring trainees and assistants. The Fire Alarm Technician is a key contributor to Classic Fire + Life Safety''s operations and growth. Tasks & Responsibilities: Perform weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual inspections as required. Conduct service work and repairs on fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and other equipment. Install and verify fire alarm system components. Mentor and oversee assistants and trainees, facilitating knowledge transfer. Participate in on-call rotations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: CFAA Registered Technician status. Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the fire alarm industry as a fully licensed technician Excellent troubleshooting skills and a high level of electronic aptitude. Ability to diagnose and repair fire alarm systems. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards. Strong organizational and communication skills. Customer-focused with the ability to empathize and provide exceptional service. Proficient computer skills. Clean driver''s abstract and valid G driver''s license.
