Osteo Genie is an ever growing multi-disciplinary Wellness space located in downtown Whitby. We offer osteopathy, massage therapy and acupuncture alongside several other alternative therapies including energy work in varying forms . We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our team. As a Acupuncturist, you will be responsible for providing professional and therapeutic therapy to clients. If you are passionate about promoting health and wellness through therapeutic touch, we would love to have you on board. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans. Administer acupuncture treatments in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on complementary therapies. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques Provide excellent patient care by addressing concerns and answering questions related to treatments. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as an Acupuncturist. Knowledge of medical terminology and its application in patient care. Clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining patient records. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
