Site Carpenter / Site Assistant Home Reflections Design About Us Home Reflections Design is a growing residential construction company specializing in new custom home builds in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and surrounding areas. As our projects continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Site Carpenter / Site Assistant to support our construction team in delivering exceptional custom homes. Role Overview Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Carpenter / Site Assistant plays a hands-on role in supporting daily site operations and completing carpentry and construction tasks as required. This position works closely with the Site Superintendent and contributes directly to on-site progress and quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, motivated tradesperson who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is seeking regular hours and consistent income. Key Responsibilities Support the Site Superintendent with daily on-site construction activities. Perform hands-on carpentry and construction work, including: Basement framing Building frost walls and bulkheads Deck construction Small drywall repairs and patching Assist with site setup, organization, and site cleaning to maintain a safe and professional work environment. Handle materials, deliveries, and job site staging. Follow construction drawings, specifications, and direction from the Site Superintendent and Project Manager. Complete deficiency repairs and finishing tasks as needed. Adhere to company quality standards, building codes, and safety procedures. Communicate clearly with site leadership and other trades. Qualifications Previous experience in residential construction, preferably in new home builds. Proven ability to complete the carpentry tasks listed above with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and tools. Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid Alberta driver''s license and reliable transportation (required).
