Seeking Professional Cleaners to join our Team This part time position requires the candidate to be available early mornings (7:00 AM 8:45 AMam). Main Duties Disinfect high traffic areas and common touch points. Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other surfaces and appliances as outlined in the scope of work. Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms and other areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum and/or hand scrub floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners. Dust various surfaces such as windowsills and shelving units. Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas. Follow protocols assigned in accordance with recent COVID19 outbreak. Work Environment Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, crouching, push and pull objects, lift and move objects, repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements. Requirements 1-2 years janitorial experience. Experience operating janitorial machinery such as auto-scrubbers, buffers or other equipment would be an asset. Experience using a heavy-duty box crusher and bailer would be an asset. Detail oriented. Friendly and Professional. Able to work in a team-oriented environment. Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities. Reasoning ability. Good common sense with ability to solve practical problems. Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to your supervisor. Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting. Travel to / from customers business is required. Clean criminal record is a must. Protective Equipment We ensure our employees are protected.
