We value all our employees and their families. * *Position Summary**** This position is responsible for handling materials in the stone shop. This includes setting up and operating a CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; and keeping records. There is a great opportunity for advancement and growth in various directions inside the company. * *Job Duties And Responsibilities**** Prepare product for shipping and receiving Enter and remove product from inventory (at computer terminal) Work with overhead cranes Set up CNC machines Load CNC machines with stone using overhead cranes and a vacuum lift system Unload and inspect the finished product, and move it to the polishing area for final processing Work with production staff to ensure the CNC machines have materials to cut Maintain an organised work environment in the inventory and production areas Communicate with production team members about potential complications with materials Read the paperwork properly in order to complete the task Work in a safe manner that complies with all safety guidelines Contribute to team effort and complete other duties as required or assigned. * *Qualifications**** Minimum 1 year of experience in the warehouse environment Experience in the stone industry is an asset Outstanding attendance and punctuality Basic computer skills (MS Office) Good communication skills Willingness to learn from more experienced staff members Willingness to be trained in other departments Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. cc *The Pay Range For This Role Is: * CAD per hour(Nanaimo Branch (CCN))
