Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of bulk animal nutrition, from feed mills to farms and other customers. To ensure timely delivery, and maintaining great communication with drivers and customers. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to relay information efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Please no phone calls or in person applications. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule deliveries, ensuring efficient routing and timely delivery. Communicate effectively with drivers regarding their routes, schedules, and any changes that may arise. Communicate effectively with processors regarding timelines for completed products. Works in conjunction with Maintenance Department to ensure all service intervals are achieved for both company trucks and trailers Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including documentation related to invoices and delivery records . Monitor hours of service to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the delivery process, working collaboratively to find solutions. Ability to work extended hours/ weekends as required. Perform other duties as assigned Skills Class 1 license would be an asset Experience in the trucking or agriculture industry preferred Strong People Skills, Leadership and Teamwork Strong Communication Skills, Oral, Written, and Customer Service Strong Organizational Skills, Time Management and Multi-Tasking Capabilities Excellent Problem-Solving Ability, Analyze, Asses, Report, Provide Solutions Being Creative, Innovative, and Adaptable. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
