Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across two critical areas of our business: physical security guard services across multiple client sites and our Virtual Surveillance Center (Virtual Security Guard / remote monitoring team). The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and confident leading people in real-world environments. You will manage multiple locations, rotating shifts, and large guard teams while also ensuring the monitoring center runs with strong standards. This role requires modern leadership, scheduling expertise and the ability to respond to issues outside regular business hours when needed. Key Responsibilities Physical Guard Operations Oversee day-to-day operations of physical security services across multiple sites and clients Manage and supervise security guards, including performance coaching and corrective actions when required. Create, manage, and adjust guard schedules, including coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure service quality, professionalism, and compliance with post orders Act as the primary point of contact for client issues, escalations, and service requests Handle incident reports, investigations, and follow-ups, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and professional Ensure guards are properly trained, licensed, uniformed, and compliant with company and regulatory standards Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and training of new guards in collaboration with HR / recruiting Maintain operational documentation, logs, and reporting for internal and client-facing needs Virtual Surveillance Center (Remote Monitoring / VSG) Oversee daily operations of the Virtual Surveillance Center team, including shift coverage and performance standards Ensure consistent, high-quality alarm response and escalation workflows (verification, live monitoring, client notification, police coordination where applicable) Lead improvements to incident reporting quality and accuracy (timelines, camera references, key details, outcomes, evidence capture) Track operational metrics and outcomes (response times, service consistency, false alarm patterns, downtime trends) and implement improvements Leadership & Standards Enforce company policies, procedures, and performance standards across both operations Build a culture of reliability, professionalism, and calm decision-making under pressure Respond to emergencies or urgent staffing/operational needs outside regular hours when required (on-call expectations will be defined) Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience in security operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role Strong computer skills and have knowledge of technology Proven experience managing multiple sites and shift-based operations Strong scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving skills (including last-minute coverage) Experience supervising teams across varied hours, rotating shifts, and multiple environments Knowledge of security industry regulations, licensing, and best practices Strong written communication skills for incident reporting and client updates Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations Proficient with scheduling tools, reporting workflows, and Microsoft Office Valid driver''s license and ability to travel between sites Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
