Position Summary We''re a growing engineering and manufacturing company based in Guelph, Ontario. We specialize in custom assembly and manufacturing solutions. Our custom fabrication team is seeking a Laser & Brake Press Operator. The Laser & Brake Press Operator is responsible for operating CNC laser cutting and press brake equipment to produce high-quality metal parts according to drawings and specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, and operate laser cutting machine and brake press Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders Select appropriate materials, tooling, and programs for each job Perform machine setups, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting Use measuring tools to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality standards Work collaboratively with programmers, supervisors, and other shop personnel Perform other duties and assist with additional tasks as required to support production and operations Education & Experience Previous metal fabrication or manufacturing experience is preferred Trade school or machinist related training is an asset Experience operating laser and brake press Ability to read drawings, and understand metal types, thicknesses, and tolerances Experience with shop tools, overhead crane, forklift Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 42 per week Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Paid time off Vision care Work Location: In person
