Reporting to the Director, Pharmacy, you will perform all aspects of inpatient drug distribution at Bruyre Health. Your duties will include computer order entry, dispensing, narcotic/ward stock management, sterile drug preparation, inventory management and other related tasks in the pharmacy and on the patient care units. You will also collaborate with members of the interprofessional team to improve medication management throughout the organization. How do I qualify? Required: One (1) year Community College Pharmacy Technician Diploma Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting or similar environment Registered in good standing as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Preferred: Fluent in French and English What skills should I possess to succeed in the role? Intermediate computer skills Basic medical terminology Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Able to contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the Pharmacy Able to prioritize, manage time effectively and be flexible in a very active work environment.
