Sussex Realty is hiring a part time live-in Resident Manager in the heart of Osborne Village. Those with previous property management experience are encouraged to apply. Compensation starts with discounted rent for a 1-bedroom suite in the building (heat incl,) monthly salary, and an additional hourly wage for suite cleaning & maintenance. This is a part time position with self scheduled hours. We require that you are available via text/email during the day, with some daytime hours at the building preferred. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs Perform routine, minor maintenance in suites and common areas: Handle basic plumbing tasks (e.g. unclog drains, replace faucets, toilet repairs) Perform light electrical work (e.g. flipped breakers, monitor electrical room) Basic carpentry tasks (e.g cabinet repairs, door repair) Coordinate with vendors for major/skilled trades repairs. Building & Grounds Upkeep Keep common areas, hallways, grounds, and exteriors clean and presentable Snow removal, sidewalk shoveling, lawn care, garbage/recycling oversight Monitor building systems (heating, ventilation, fire alarms, elevators) and report issues Conduct periodic inspections and preventative maintenance checks Annual maintenance items, other duties that may be required by management Tenant Relations & Leasing Support Act as primary liaison for tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests Conduct move-in / move-out inspections, suite showings and leasing support Build positive relationships with tenants and foster a sense of community Qualifications Customer service experience Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, maintenance an asset Property management, hotel/tourism management experience an asset Clear criminal record check required Must be legally able to work in Canada You can apply directly to this ad on Indeed, and the hiring manager will review applications.
