Our challenge We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Tester to join our team, supporting our banking client. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of banking applications, verifying that all features meet the specified requirements and adhere to industry standards. The Role Responsibilities: Review and analyze business requirements and functional specifications related to banking applications. Develop comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and checklists for manual testing activities. Execute test cases to identify defects and ensure the functionality, security, and compliance of banking systems. Report, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Quality Center. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Perform regression testing, usability testing, and validation of fixes. Ensure adherence to banking compliance standards, security protocols, and data privacy regulations. Prepare detailed test documentation and test reports for management and stakeholders. Participate in test planning, review meetings, and sprint planning if following Agile methodologies. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Requirements: You are: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester in banking or financial services domain. Strong understanding of banking processes, products, and regulatory requirements. Experience creating detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports. Familiarity with banking applications, core banking systems, or related platforms. Knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA, Quality Center, or similar. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities. Nice-to-have: It would be great if you also had: ISTQB Foundation Level or higher.
