Responsibilities Tasks Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms Advise on tendering procedures Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates Write plans describing project specifications and construction schedules Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure Estimate cost of projects Additional information Security and safety Basic security clearance Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Attention to detail Combination of sitting, standing, walking Personal suitability Client focus Flexibility Organized Team player
