Duties Greet patients and visitors professionally at the front desk, providing excellent customer service Act as our front of house host, providing our clients with beverages and snacks as requested. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently using AVA Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and assist with patient inquiries Verify insurance information and process billing or payments as needed Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks, including preparing documentation for appointments or procedures Manage correspondence, including emails and faxes, related to patient care and office operations Support the overall organization of the front desk and administrative functions to ensure a seamless patient experience Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant preferred Proficiency with electronic medical records systems Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards Office experience with front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and appointment scheduling Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Prior experience working in a dental or medical office environment is highly desirable This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to providing quality patient care.
