Responsibilities include: Build and complete upholstered furniture by following specifications, production guidelines, and design requirements. Operate a variety of hand tools, including staple guns, hammers, scissors, and air-powered screw guns, to perform upholstery and assembly tasks accurately and efficiently. Confirm that all materials and components used in each operation meet established quality and productivity standards. Ensure furniture frames are properly upholstered and finished according to style and construction requirements. Conduct thorough visual inspections of completed work. Monitor incoming materials and components for defects or quality concerns and immediately communicate any issues or non-compliance to supervisory staff. Support production flow by assisting with the movement of materials, carts, and work-in-process items throughout the assembly line.
