FACILITY: Rosehaven DEPARTMENT: Accommodations TITLE: Laundry Attendant STATUS: Casual POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision, performs a variety of tasks associated with the preparation, washing, drying and distribution of linen and garments, following approved work practices. Duties include collecting, sorting, classifying, and weighing soiled linen and operating all washing and drying equipment. Employees in this classification are involved in all areas of laundry production and are responsible for the processing of all linen and wearing apparel processed in an institutional laundry facility.
