Safety and Locations Primary Location: Canada, British Columbia Vancouver Responsibilities Lead and grow the Solid Waste Market Sector team in Canada, focusing on the Western region. Work closely with HDR Resources and Waste Sector leadership to drive program development and manage both planning and engineering related projects. Develop client relationships, network, and think strategically about future directions for clients and programs. Travel to client sites regularly for project support and proposal visitations. Manage wasterelated projects and maintain existing client relationships for continued business growth. Assist with Western US projects and pursuits on an asneeded basis. Participate in risk management activities for contract reviews and project deliverables. Champion a quality culture within the sector organization and production teams. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 15years working with regulatory and permitting agencies, writing proposals, and developing scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for complex waste projects. Experience managing a team of people. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills for a broad range of audiences. Strong conceptual, organizational, analytical, problemsolving, and research abilities. Ability to support multiple complex and timesensitive projects effectively. Identifying and resolving issues efficiently, recognizing bigpicture concepts while attending to important details. Fostering collaborative team attitudes and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines and demonstrate staff management, mentoring, and coaching capabilities. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in a related field. 7years of related experience. Minimum 2years of project management experience. Ability to interact with various design teams and excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
