We are looking for a Biosolids Supervisor to be responsible for all maintenance and operation of the Regional Biosolids Composting Facility in Vernon and the Citys Yard Waste composting facility at the Glenmore Landfill. With excellent communication, project management and people skills; you will build teams and relationships, foster collaboration and effectively resolve problems or conflict with customers, contractors, staff and stakeholders to deliver safe and superior service to the public. Responsibilities Maintain and operate the Biosolids and Yard Waste composting facilities. Manage and supervise daily operations, including workforce management. Ensure compliance with solid waste management, organic matter recycling and all regulatory requirements applicable in British Columbia and Canada. Build teams, relationships, foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, coordinate with customers, contractors, staff and stakeholders, deliver safe and superior service to the public. Qualifications Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum of 10 years experience in waste management and composting. Sound knowledge of solid waste management, organic matter recycling and applicable regulatory requirements.
