Specialty Instructor - Afterschool Programs Job order: J1025-0095 - Casual Title: Specialty Instructor - Afterschool Programs Category: Recreation City: Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada The Port Moody Community Services Department is seeking personable, experienced and dynamic recreation instructors to lead afterschool programs for children at the elementary schools. This position is responsible for planning and leading a variety of programs in a recreational setting and providing a safe and secure environment for children. Candidates must be available to work mid-week, Monday to Friday, from 2:00-5:30pm (minimum 2 shifts/week). Basic Qualifications: Related experience working with children 5-11 years Experience coordinating and leading recreation programs CPR and a Level 1 First Aid High Five certification is an asset Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Please note that employment with the City of Port Moody is subject to the receipt of a satisfactory police information check.
