Your Opportunity Our Hawkesbury office is looking for a bilingual Junior Accountant to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team. Responsibilities include: Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagements Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes Prepare corporate and/or personal tax returns including information returns Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis Success Criteria Demonstrate BDO's core values: Integrity, Respect & Collaboration Effectively communicate within your work team in both written and verbal formats Understand client industry, challenges, and opportunities; demonstrate positivity and professionalism Identify, recommend and focus on effective service delivery to clients Contribute to an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains and attracts talent Participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive innovation Grow expertise through learning and professional development Work independently Experience and Education Completed undergraduate degree or diploma in accounting with necessary prerequisites Proficient in both English and French (written and spoken) Desire to provide outstanding client service and commitment to teamwork Proven leadership skill and initiative to seek understanding Strong problemsolving, analytical, and communication skills The expected range of annual compensation for this role is between $55,000.00 - $59,000.00.
