Job OverviewEBC Inc. leverages expertise to deliver major infrastructure projects including bridges, roads, highways, tunnels, marine installations, and hydroelectric facilities. The Assistant Project Manager reports to the Project Manager and ensures safe, onschedule, contractcompliant delivery of projects within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the PM in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress and reporting.Support PM in all operational functions and ensure compliance with local legislation and labor requirements.Implement company policies and procedures throughout project execution.Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.Prepare project cost status reports and identify risk opportunities.Coordinate subcontractor work execution and contract management.Prepare progress billings, collect outstanding payments, and conduct site safety inspections.Enforce the companys Safety and Quality Assurance Programs.RequirementsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering Technology.Professional accreditation (P.Eng./CET) or equivalent technical training.8+ years of progressively responsible construction experience including dams, power stations, bridges, and heavy civil projects.Experience with OPG or powerhouse projects is an asset.Strong communication, problemsolving, initiative, and leadership skills.Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Bluebeam.Excellent organization, multitasking, timemanagement, and attention to detail.Bilingual French/English is an asset.Willingness to work across multiple Ontario project sites.BenefitsCompetitive salary and 4 weeks annual vacation.Flexible group insurance program and employer RRSP contribution to a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan.24hour virtual doctor access and training/development programs.Employee assistance program, social club, and health & wellness committee.Diverse, innovative, and stimulating work environment with values of respect, integrity, and excellence.Corporate clothing program.Employment DetailsMidSenior level Fulltime Project Management Construction Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
