OverviewWe are seeking an experienced (Senior level) Safety/EHS Manager with strong experience in manufacturing to lead safety and environmental programs that exceed compliance standards and promote a strong safety culture in a fast-paced industrial setting.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and programs aligned with WorkSafeBC and federal safety regulationsLead a team of direct reportsLead the Joint Health and Safety Committee and oversee claims, inspections, and incident investigationsManage emergency response, fire safety, and environmental compliance programsConduct safety audits, deliver training, and maintain EHS documentation and reportingServe as primary contact for regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with provincial and federal requirementsIdentify opportunities for waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiativesQualifications8+ years of relevant experience in EHS compliance within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of WorkSafeBC, the Workers Compensation Act, and Canadian safety legislationProven leadership, communication, and training skillsPreferred certifications: CRSP, CRST, NCSO, CIH, or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr
