Family Law Clerk (Maternity Leave Contract) Our Client, a respected law firm, is seeking a Family Law Clerk with a least two years of family law experience to support their team on a contract basis. The role is best suited to a locally based candidate who can be in the office regularly and values day-to-day collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and clerk support within a busy family law practice Draft written correspondence and legal documents including Applications, Affidavits, Case/Settlement Conference Briefs, Separation Agreements, Parenting Plans, etc. Prepare Financial Statements, Net Family Property Statements, and Orders from Endorsements Manage court electronic filings using Adobe Acrobat Manage calendars and schedules efficiently Liaise professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals Perform all other administrative tasks necessary to support the family law team Qualifications: Postsecondary education in Legal Administration, Law Clerk Program, or related field, or equivalent work experience 23 years experience in a similar family law clerk or legal assistant role Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fastpaced environment Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for electronic court filings Willingness to ask questions and seek guidance when necessary To apply, please forward your resume to Zaheeda Merali, Manager Law Clerk Division at #J-18808-Ljbffr
