Accounting Technician, Assurance & Accounting - China ServicesJoin ACCA Careers as an Accounting Technician in our Assurance & Accounting team. In this role you will be part of a dynamic and diverse team focused on exceeding clients unique needs in a rapidly evolving business and financial reporting landscape.ResponsibilitiesAssist with compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping and tax engagementsPrepare and maintain government remittances/filings, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable and payroll transactionsSetup client files, assist with the completion of budgets and complete administrative planningPerform monthend and quarterend close processesMaintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, intercompany and pointofsale (POS)/system uploadsIdentify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and discuss with managers or engagement partners to develop resolutionsCommunicate with the government regarding information requests, assessments and installmentsWork collaboratively with the client engagement teamMaintain flexibility to travel as necessarySkills And ExperienceAccounting certificate or bachelors degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is considered an asset)Entry level to 2 years of relevant accounting experienceExperience preparing T4s and T5s and knowledge of personal and corporate tax is preferredWorking knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes is considered an assetExperience working with accounting and tax software is considered an assetAble to communicate fluently in Mandarin & EnglishMyRewards@MNPWith a focus on highpotential earnings, MNP offers customized rewards to support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle.
