Associate Director in the Construction industry This pivotal team member will oversee and coordinate projects to ensure successful completion within defined timeframes and cost parameters. The role focuses on Curtain Walls, Window walls, Storefronts, Metal Panels and more, offering autonomy across all project phases from design to completion. Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Responsibilities Administer Curtainwall projects of high rise buildings from pre-construction budgeting/schedule through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, turnover, and contract closeout. Coordinate shop drawing and submittal processes by collaborating with architects, engineers, drafters, and factory partners, attending various design meetings. Obtain current structural drawings from the general contractor and interface drawings from other trades for site use. Establish schedules of values for projects, assist with monthly requisitions, change orders, and other accounting duties. Develop project schedules based on client requirements, factual durations, and lead times. Coordinate material release for fabrication in alignment with the project schedule. Provide project design managers with details and sketches for non-compliant conditions, including structural drawings and other trade interfaces. Obtain construction permits, follow job safety & insurance program, ensure project complies with code and requirements. Oversee and ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields (Master's degree is a plus). General knowledge of construction industry and standard practices (preferred). Knowledge of the curtainwall industry (a plus).
