About the Role: We are seeking a Translator to join the French Language Services Team within the broader Communications & Public Affairs department. This role will involve translating documents from English to French, with a focus on member and employer communications, including both business as usual and project-based work, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legislated deadlines. This role will also support CAAT''s pension education program through the delivery and moderation of French webinars. As the Newest Member of our Team, You''ll: Translate member and employer communications for ongoing projects including updating French forms and letters, translating digital projects, social media posts, financial products, and online tools. Coordinate incoming translation requests and manage competing deadlines Partner with internal teams to support and moderate French webinars. Maintain linguistic databases and glossaries. Contribute to the development of French language tools and resources To Succeed, You Bring: University Degree or College Diploma in Translation, Communications or related field. 1-3 years of experience in translation, writing, editing, or similar. Fluently bilingual in written and spoken English and French Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with translation software. Membership in the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario is an asset. Familiarity with CMS tools such as Adobe Experience Manager is an asset. The target hiring salary for this position is $71,000.00-$83, Placement within our salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate''s experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
