Assist the Business Development team with assessing architectural plans and developing detailed takeoffs based on the section details and floor plans using the CAD software Create thorough product section details to ease the Business Development team''s conversations with architects, interior designers and acoustical consultants Continuously make improvements to the coding in the takeoff generator (an automated system used to assist in the creation of detailed takeoffs for the business development engineers) Develop, validate, and optimize FEA models for floating floor systems, including static and dynamic structural analysis. Evaluate various loadings from fitness and mechanical equipment to provide technical assessment and product recommendations Work alongside the document control team to update product specification guides and other technical documents including installation guides, maintenance manuals, one pagers, and other marketing documents Contribute creatively to new product development as well as any other area of the business Schedule customer facing meetings (in person when applicable, virtual, or whatever creative means you can come up with) in order to increase Pliteq''s market share and maintain solid partnerships Be a role model for the team in actions, communication, and results Explore and close new business opportunities by developing project-specific strategies that incorporate Pliteq products, communicating project-specific strategies with key contacts, and communicating responses to objections.
