Responsibilities: As a Produce Clerk, you''ll play a crucial role in ensuring our produce department is well-stocked, fresh, and appealing to our customers. Your duties will include: Receiving, inspecting, and stocking fresh produce Maintaining attractive and organized produce displays Ensuring product freshness, rotating stock, and removing expired items Assisting customers with locating items and answering inquiries about produce Operating scales and accurately weighing produce Maintaining a clean and organized produce section Assisting with inventory management Other duties as assigned to support store operations Qualifications: Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is an asset, but not required Knowledge of various types of fruits and vegetables is a plus Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends A positive attitude and a willingness to learn Job Types: Permanent, Part-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 30 per week Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Store discount Vision care Experience: Produce Clerk: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
