Senior Landscape Architect Ottawa (Permanent, Full-Time) Lashley + Associates is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our growing Ottawa office. Lashley + Associates is an award-winning landscape architecture firm with offices in Ottawa and Montral. We design urban, rural, and natural environments across Central and Eastern Canada, guided by a forward-thinking and sustainable approach. We believe landscape architecture should meaningfully improve both communities and natural systems through thoughtful, well-executed design. Our Ottawa office serves clients throughout the National Capital Region and Eastern Ontario, working closely with our Montral team on interprovincial projects. This role offers a strong leadership opportunity and the potential for future equity participation in the firm. Key Responsibilities Develop design concepts, construction drawings, and presentation materials Lead and support the preparation of proposals, reports, and project documentation Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables Conduct site analysis and integrate field data into design solutions Participate in contract administration and construction site reviews Ensure compliance with municipal standards, accessibility requirements, sustainability objectives, and budget constraints Contribute to design innovation, quality control, and team mentorship Support business development efforts, including client outreach, sub-consultant coordination, public RFP research, and conference participation Qualifications Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university Minimum 7 years of professional experience in landscape architecture Member of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) and/or AAPQ, or eligible for registration Strong experience in project management and construction, including contract administration Proficiency with CAD software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects and teams Bilingualism: English required; French an asset Valid driver''s license What We Offer Competitive salary, based on experience Flexible work environment Comprehensive benefits program Paid vacation and personal days Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel Full-time position, Monday to Friday Office located in the heart of Little Italy, Ottawa How to Apply Please submit your resume, portfolio, and cover letter (PDF format) to: Application deadline: January 30, 2026 Only selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.
