We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Business Development Coordinator to help expand our market presence, strengthen client relationships, and support proposals and projects as the business scales. This is a hands-on growth role, ideal for someone who enjoys business development, client interaction, and learning technical work not just managing from a distance. The successful candidate will work closely with ownership and operations and have a clear path to increased responsibility and independence. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Proactively identify new business opportunities through cold calls, follow-ups, networking, and industry research Set up meetings, presentations, and site visits with prospective clients Manage the sales process from lead generation through proposal, negotiation, and closing Track leads, opportunities, and client activity using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) Client Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients Keep regular contact to stay informed on upcoming projects and opportunities Track who is working on which projects and support continuity between sales and operations Provide professional follow-up and ongoing client support Proposals & Marketing Support Assist with preparation of proposals, estimates, presentations, and bid submissions Coordinate information from operations, management, and vendors as needed Collaborate on targeted marketing and outreach initiatives that support growth goals Trade Shows & Industry Events Attend and actively represent the company at trade shows and industry events Engage potential clients, collect leads, and coordinate post-event follow-ups Assist with planning, logistics, and materials for events Project & General Business Support Assist with project-related administrative and coordination tasks when required Support cross-functional efforts to ensure smooth execution from sales to delivery Take initiative in improving systems, tracking, and workflows as the company grows What We''re Looking For Proven experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (construction or industrial experience is an asset, specially in water and waste water industry in Municipalities, Mining, Oil and Gas or others) Comfortable with cold calling, follow-ups, and relationship-driven sales Strong organizational and project coordination skills Highly Important to be able to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership Fast learner with interest in understanding technical construction work Willing to travel for meetings, trade shows, and site visits Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience with CRM platforms Background in construction, industrial services, or B2B sales Proposal writing or estimating exposure Marketing or trade show experience Growth Opportunity This role offers a clear growth path into a senior Business Development or Account Management position.
