Overview We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. Experience with salon software such as MINDBODY and retail sales is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized consultations, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and fostering client loyalty through excellent service. Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions Apply eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup as requested by clients Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management Manage retail sales through upselling products such as hair care, styling tools, and cosmetics Maintain proper sanitation and sterilization of all tools and workstations in accordance with industry standards Provide expert advice on color theory and hair treatments to meet client needs Operate the front desk by greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries Mentor junior staff or apprentices to promote skill development within the team Assist with store management tasks including inventory control and merchandising Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and hair extensions Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for booking and client records Proficiency in color theory, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Experience with retail sales techniques including upselling and retail math Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon environment Store management experience is a plus but not required Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed; strong organizational skills are essential Join our team to elevate your career in a supportive environment that encourages creativity, professional growth, and delivering outstanding beauty services.
