Responsibilities Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical instructions to accurately fabricate sheet metal components. Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal materials with precision using hand tools and power equipment. Install fabricated sheet metal products on-site (cap flashing etc.), ensuring proper fit and finish according to project standards. Collaborate with project managers,, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical issues efficiently. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct quality inspections throughout fabrication and installation processes to ensure compliance with specifications. Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for documentation purposes. Experience Valid Red Seal certification in Architectural Sheet Metal or equivalent recognized qualification. Proven experience in fabricating and installing architectural sheet metal components in commercial or institutional settings. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to sheet metal work. Skilled in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications with attention to detail. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements. Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and clients.
