Responsibilities Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on hairstyles and products. Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, and managing client records. Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products and upselling services to enhance the client experience. Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, ensuring repeat business and referrals. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products through continuous education. Requirements Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations. Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively. Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others look their best. Experience in retail sales is preferred, with an emphasis on upselling services and products. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of sanitation practices related to hair styling tools and equipment.
