Hi Tech Heat Treating is seeking a permanent full-time shop hand / Laborer to join our team We are looking for a self-motivated, detailed orientated, hardworking professional individual to fill this position. ** Previous experience in a warehouse/ shop environment is required & forklift experience is a must ** Position Summary This position will be responsible for helping throughout the shop in multiple different areas. This position is best suited for very versatile people that know their way around equipment in a shop and able to effectivley multi-task. Key Competencies Attention to detail and good hand eye coordination is key Physically fit; able to handle weights up to 23 kgs (50lbs), standing for extended periods Fluent in English (verbal and written) Able to accurately count fast and work under pressure Strong team working skills Reliable and honest Responsibilities Aid the shipping & receiving department with shipping & receiving duties Accurately weighting and counting customer pieces as they are received & shipped Load & unload part baskets with received parts Move pallets & part baskets within the shop using a forklift General shop labour duties Regularly lift up to 50lbs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Other duties as assigned per shop demands Requirements Forklift experiences is a must and required for this position Experience in the oil & gas industry / shop experience Own transportation would be beneficial as there is limited access to transit Steel toe boots are required What We Offer Dental Benefits Employee Assistance Program On Site parking Competitive wages Full-time position - Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm with overtime available Thank you for your interest in this position at Hi Tech Heat Treating Ltd.
