Overview We are seeking a talented and professional Beautician to join our dynamic team. The Beautician will be responsible for delivering a wide range of beauty services, managing client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the salon or med spa. Experience with management tools such as Millennium and MINDBODY, as well as social media management skills, are highly desirable to promote services and engage with clients effectively. Duties Perform various beauty treatments including hair styling, hair extensions, nail care, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments. Provide makeup application and hair threading services to enhance client appearance. Deliver advanced skincare procedures such as facials and dermal treatments while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety. Manage front desk responsibilities including guest services, appointment scheduling via salon software like Millennium or MINDBODY, and retail sales of beauty products. Conduct product demos and upsell services or products to maximize client satisfaction and revenue. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the salon or med spa environment. Utilize social media management skills to promote services, showcase client transformations, and engage with the community online. Stay updated on current trends in color theory, makeup application techniques, barbering, tattooing (if applicable), and other beauty innovations. Assist with management tasks such as inventory control and scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations. Experience Proven experience in cosmetology or esthetician roles with knowledge of hair styling, nail care, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, Botox treatments, dermabrasion, laser treatments, and massage therapy preferred. Experience with salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Background in retail sales and upselling techniques to enhance revenue streams. Familiarity with social media platforms for marketing purposes is a plus. Prior experience in medical spa settings or med spa environments is beneficial but not required. Certification or licensing in cosmetology or esthetics is mandatory; additional certifications in advanced procedures like dermal fillers or laser treatments are a plus.
