Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized support and assistance to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others, especially seniors and those with disabilities, to maintain independence and improve their quality of life. The position involves a variety of duties aimed at ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being in a home setting. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with individuals with dementia is highly valued. Candidates should be reliable, empathetic, and capable of managing physical tasks such as heavy lifting and meal preparation. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment Support clients with mobility exercises or transfers using proper techniques Monitor health status and report any changes to family members or healthcare professionals Assist with activities that promote mental engagement and social interaction Follow care plans developed by healthcare providers or family members Skills Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, hospice care, or working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is preferred Strong patient care skills with an understanding of dementia care and senior care needs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or household tasks Excellent caregiving skills with compassion, patience, and empathy Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures Ability to prepare meals that meet specific dietary restrictions or preferences Good communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Physical stamina for performing caregiving duties that may involve standing for extended periods or assisting with mobility This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those needing support at home while developing valuable skills in caregiving and health support services.
