Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team for 2 to 3 days a week. U dental is a small family owned practice with strong emphasize on patients well being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene practices. This role is essential in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental care. A proficiency in the dental software Dentrix is a plus. Our clinic is open Mondays to Thursdays. NO EVENINGS and NO WEEKENDS, just daytime hours, from 8 am to until 3:30 pm . Tuesdays are from 8am to 5pm. 30 Minutes of PAID LUNCH We have 10 minutes buffer between hygiene patients and a floater to help with sterilization. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and ensure all medical terminology is correctly documented. Collaborate with dentists to provide optimal patient care Provide excellent customer service to create a welcoming environment for patients. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience with Dentrix software preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for improved patient communication. Previous dental office experience is highly desirable, along with strong customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
