Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dental anesthesia agency. The successful candidate will support an anesthesiologist in providing safe anesthesia care for both adult and pediatric patients in dental clinic settings. This role requires strong IV skills, critical care experience, and confidence working with children. Key Responsibilities Assist the anesthesiologist during dental procedures requiring anesthesia Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment and medications Start and manage IV access confidently and efficiently Assist with airway management and intubation Continuously monitor vital signs during procedures Provide patient care in the recovery phase (PACU) post-surgery Assess patients for discharge readiness Deliver clear post-operative discharge instructions to patients and caregivers Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and infection-control protocols Provide calm, reassuring careespecially for pediatric patients and families Qualifications & Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Previous experience in Emergency Room (ER), Operating Room (OR), ICU, or PACU Strong and confident IV initiation and management skills Comfortable and experienced working with children Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced clinical environments Excellent communication and teamwork skills BLS required (ACLS and PALS considered an asset) Preferred Skills Experience with anesthesia or procedural sedation Pediatric nursing experience Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities Flexibility to work in different dental clinic locations Why Join Us Work in a specialized and growing field of dental anesthesia Supportive, collaborative clinical team Opportunity to work with both adult and pediatric patients Flexible scheduling Certifications RN License, good standing with the CNO (required) ACLS (required) BLS (required) PALS (required) We have clinics in: Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Bradford, London,St. Catherines, Caledon, Oshawa, Scarborough and surrounding areas ***Must have reliable access to vehicle and willingness to drive.*** Job Types: Casual, Freelance Pay: $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 40 per week Work Location: In person
