Base Salary - $90,355 Target Compensation - $128,756 with potential to earn more based on performance. The Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) is a critical role within Libro Credit Union, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business members by delivering comprehensive financial solutions. The SRM acts as a trusted advisor to local agricultural producers and businesses, addressing both their business and personal banking needs. The Senior Relationship Manager will proactively engage with local businesses with lending, deposit, and cash management needs greater than $2.5 million. The SRM serves as a dedicated, single point of contact for comprehensive financial solutions for business members and their families. This role is central to supporting the growth and financial well-being of Members by providing tailored financial solutions, bringing in specialist support where needed, and fostering long-term, value-based relationships. The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining a high level of portfolio management discipline, driving member loyalty, and consistently identifying growth opportunities within the existing member base while also sourcing new high-value relationships. The Role Actively build and manage a large, complex portfolio of business members from diverse sectors for Libro Credit Union. Act as the primary point of contact for all financial needs both business and personal. Grow the size and profitability of a book of business through good risk management techniques and by soliciting and maintaining new business relationships. The ability to meet financial objectives related to the profitable growth and retention of assigned portfolio is critical to success. Provide comprehensive financial solutions that address both business and personal banking needs, including day-to-day banking, business and personal lending, deposits, wealth, cash management, and advisory services. Engage in proactive business development by identifying opportunities for growth within the portfolio and establishing new business relationships. Analyze business financial statements to identify lending, cash management, and deposit opportunities that support business growth and sustainability. Structure and deliver tailored financing solutions. Collaborate with internal specialists in financial planning, insurance, cash management, and legacy planning to deliver comprehensive solutions to members. Continuously monitor and manage the health of the portfolio by ensuring high-quality relationships and minimizing credit risk. Actively identify opportunities for portfolio growth, deepening relationships by understanding evolving member needs. Partner with Credit and Analyst team members to proactively manage high-risk loans, developing risk issues and changing credit needs through communication with internal partners to restructure deals, remediate risks and minimize loss. Minimize loan risks through diligent, timely and proactive financial reviews and awareness of changing economic/marketplace influences and applicable industry trends/data. Actively engage in the local agriculture and business community to build visibility and foster new business opportunities. Attend and participate in industry events, networking groups, and local business associations to strengthen Libro''s presence. What We''re Looking For Diploma or Bachelor''s degree in business, finance, agriculture, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in business banking, relationship management, or commercial lending. Proven experience managing a diverse business portfolio including small to medium sized businesses. Strong business development experience, with established connections within the local business or agricultural community preferred. Experience in credit underwriting, loan structuring and financial analysis. Experience in agriculture financing or rural economic development an asset. Financial Planning or Credit Risk designation an asset. A passion for helping people grow their financial well-being.
