Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Barrie and the GTA, for a Field Service Technician. The Technician will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, and more. Additional responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, providing accurate service reports, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver prompt solutions for customers. Qualifications Technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment systems, including hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems. Experience in troubleshooting equipment issues and performing regular equipment inspections. Strong aptitude for understanding technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostics tools. Effective communication skills for providing service reports and discussing technical issues with customers and team members. Physical ability to work in varied environments and perform tasks requiring physical effort. Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles. Certification in heavy equipment repair or a related technical field is an asset (421A) Commitment to workplace safety practices and protocols.
