Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CNC Press Brake Operator to join our custom fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating press brake machines to shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency and will meet strict quality standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and specifications Program CNC press brakes using appropriate software Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of press brake equipment to maximize uptime and precision Use hand tools, and other precision measuring instruments to inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job, ensuring proper setup for consistent results Collaborate with fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly teams to meet production deadlines while maintaining safety standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Experience and Requirements Previous experience as a Press Brake/Brake Operator Ability to read technical drawings and measurements Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Knowledge of tooling setup, mechanical adjustments, and routine maintenance of press brake equipment Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings Ability to operate forklifts or cranes safely when handling heavy materials is preferred but not required This role is ideal for someone passionate about custom fabrication who thrives in a hands-on environment.
