Westwind Counselling is seeking a part time Registered Dietitian to join our team at our location in Kelowna BC. Westwind is a private counselling service provider, offering treatment in the form of psychotherapy and nutritional counselling to individuals suffering from problems related to disordered eating behaviours. This is a part time position and you would be working in collaboration with our clinical team that includes another dietitian as well as counsellors. Qualifications include: Successful completion of a bachelor''s degree in a 4 year Dietitians of Canada accredited university food/nutrition program degree/discipline and completion of a Dietitians of Canada accredited clinical/general dietetic internship; Membership with Dietitians of Canada; Member in good standing of the College of Dietitians of BC required; Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of three to five years of clinical practice experience; Preference will be given to those who have an understanding of eating disorders and works from a HAES informed model; Demonstrated excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills; Proven ability to act both independently and as an active member of a professional team; . Valid driver''s license required. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one nutritional counselling and group sessions to adult clients in our residential treatment program, as well as one-on-one nutritional counselling to adult and adolescent clients on an outpatient basis in person and video chat. Assess nutritional needs to create nutritional programs based on needs of the clients. Facilitate weekly menu development. Maintain clinical records of clients. Provide meal support to our residential clients. Grocery shopping and organizing and maintaining kitchen. Job Type: Casual Pay: $38.00-$43.00 per hour Work Location: In person
