Currently Hiring: Janitorial Operations Specialist Location: Head Office in Chilliwack Hours: Full-Time | Monday-Friday REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years leadership/management experience: coaching, motivating, developing and leading a team Scheduling experience with the ability to pivot and adapt Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Intermediate knowledge and experience working with and creating Excel spreadsheets Administrative, reporting and logistical skills Flexibility in schedule for weekly and occasional afterhours meetings Commercial janitorial knowledge and experience is an asset High school diploma and some postsecondary education preferred RESPONSIBILITIES Managing, developing and improving work standards and systems Creative problem solving, supervisory support and leadership to all staff Supporting new staff onboarding by creating training plans, managing and developing systems for tracking progress and identifying successes/gaps Plan and ensure regular inspections and quality reviews are planned and completed regularly by supervisors Plan and manage scheduling of janitorial staff: recurring schedules, sick notice and other fillins, and daytoday troubleshooting Creating and managing delivery schedules, and providing training where needed Work alongside the HR coordinator on all hiring needs, staff changes and providing input on disciplinary measures Payroll support: approving vacation requests, and hours worked for janitorial, delivery and supervisory staff COMPENSATION $50,000 $60,000 commensurate with experience APPLY NOW Subscribe to SMS to receive notifications!
