Marie, Ontario, Canada Department: Maintenance Role As Electrical EMG (Emergency Group) Supervisor, you will lead maintenance teams to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our manufacturing processes. Your role will encompass handson technical support, team leadership, and the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance actions to uphold equipment reliability and availability. Responsibilities Ensure the application of health, safety and environment standards and practices. Comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections, and participate in the investigation process. Responsible for performance management of direct reports by consistently applying the CBA and annual performance reviews. Troubleshoot and minimize the impact of failures on production processes by ensuring the correct diagnosis of the failure and the execution of the necessary interventions on equipment to maintain its availability and reliability. Maintain a visible presence in the mill to foster employee engagement, communication and assess work process effectiveness within the team. On production floor technical handson support expected to be 70% or more. Implement preventive/corrective actions. Keep the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment updated. Act as a shift leader, being responsible for leading employees during their assigned time period/shift, coordinating schedules, assigning responsibilities and ensuring work safety conditions. Verify technical resource availability, ensuring a suitable minimum stock. Manage and update the maintenance information system and technical documentation, keeping a record of the information related to the area. Support Base Maintenance Supervisors in the execution of preventive tasks during the normal course of production and/or scheduled interventions. Support Base Maintenance Supervisors in the execution of failure analyses. Analyze, interpret and recommend courses of action for more complex topics. Interact with internal and/or external contacts with a higher level of autonomy. Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility. Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with and develop staff and manage HR related activities in line with HR norms and procedures. Protect facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to the area from damage, theft or misuse. Qualifications 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance, trades work or handson engineering technician is an asset. 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment. Postsecondary education in Electrical Trade (442a preferred), Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with manufacturing environment safety procedures. Previous experience with PLC, VFD, sensors and highfrequency heating equipment considered an asset. Previous experience with SAP considered an asset. Scope of Machines & Equipment Finishing: Industrial online pipe cutting machine, hydro tester equipment for oil and gas pipes, online coupling buckon machine for oil and gas pipes, walking beam handling equipment, roll conveyor lines, gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders, grease lubrication systems, and oil hydraulic systems, pumps and valves (directional and proportional). Hot Rolling Mill: Oil hydraulic systems, pumps and valves (directional and proportional), centralized lubrication systems, grease lubrication systems, roll conveyor lines, industrial pipe handling (rotary arms, chains, levers and kicks), gearboxes above 1700kW, hydraulic cylinders and rotary actuators, furnace handling (beams, levers, rolls refractory steel), and walking beam systems. Schedule & Working Conditions 12hr rotational shift, days & nights, with flexibility based on business needs. Work is performed in a steel manufacturing mill. Compensation The salary range for this role is $93,000.00 $117,000.00 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as the candidates experience, education, skills and qualifications, as well as internal equity and market considerations.
