ACI develops policies, standards, and guidance materials and advocates on behalf of its members at the global level. It works closely with international organizations such as International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and industry stakeholders to enhance the economic sustainability of airports as businesses and foster the development of the global aviation industry.ACI is looking for a Manager, Economic Policy to maximize its impact on global economic policy and the value it brings to airports. Reporting to the Director, Economic Policy, this role involves conducting economic policy research, developing advocacy positions, coordinating industry groups and committees, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to advance ACIs economic policy objectives globally.I. MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYEconomic Policy Development & ResearchContribute to the development of ACIs policy briefs, regulatory submissions, and economic publications.Support evidence-based research and analysis on airport economic issues, including airport charges, financial sustainability, investment frameworks, and other related aspects.Assist in the drafting of presentations, background papers, and policy recommendations for global regulators and member airports.Stakeholder Engagement & Committee SupportAct as a liaison to the ACI World Economics Standing Committee (WESC) and support related subcommittees (ANARA and AT3), as directed by the respective Committees Secretaries.Coordinate working group / WESC and its Subcommittees (ANARA and AT3) activities, including meetings, logistics, material preparation, and follow-up actions.Engage with ACI regional offices, airport operators, and international bodies to ensure policy alignment and joint advocacy, under the guidance of the Director, Economic Policy.Project CoordinationManage assigned projects or studies from inception to completion, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.Coordinate across internal teams (e.g., Data, Marketing and Communications), ACI Regions, and external consultants.Advocacy & RepresentationRepresent ACI in international panels, working groups, forums, and meetings, under the guidance of the Director, Economic Policy.Contribute to agenda-setting and provide technical input in relevant policy discussions.Other DutiesSupport strategic initiatives and emerging issues as directed by the Director, Economic Policy.Provide mentorship or supervision to interns or junior staff where applicable.Undertake other assignments as directed by the Director, Economic Policy.II. QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree required; Masters degree in Economics, Aviation Management, Public Policy, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Demonstrated a minimum of three years of managerial experience in economic policy, regulatory analysis, or airport/aviation-related consulting.Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of financial modeling and data interpretation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with economic data sources and platforms is a plus.Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.Ability to work independently, travel internationally, and work effectively in a multicultural environment.III.
