This is a full time role and can transition to a flexible hybrid schedule once training has been completed.The ideal candidate will be capable of managing all office administrative related duties, assisting with people management, liaising with a third-party accounting firm, supporting with ad hoc accounting functions, as well as working to enforce and improve internal policies and procedures.This role reports directly to the Partner working as their right hand in many ways along side her paralegal.Required is a detail oriented, supportive, go-getter and trouble shooter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stake holders. This person will be friendly and approachable with the confidence to speak up, ask questions when needed, and work autonomously with little to no micromanaging.Duties and Responsibilities:The key job functions are:Overseeing the performance of the legal admin teamManaging vendors, light bookkeeping, payroll and expenses supportDeveloping and documenting company polices/proceduresOrdering and keeping a running inventory of all office suppliesIT maintenance and supportOther duties as neededQualifications:Valid drivers license and reliable vehicleProficiency in MS 365 requiredExperience/knowledge in IPRO Eclipse a large assetExperience:Minimum 5 years Office Management experienceThose with law firm industry experience are preferredSkills:Confident, self-driven and process based personalityExcellent communication skills, written and verbalHigh attention to detail and organizationAdaptable, flexible, and able to function effectively autonomously as well as in a team environmentProactive, able to solve problems before they ariseStrong sense of confidentiality and discretionTech savvy in natureBase Salary: $60,000 per yearWork Hours:40 hours per weekRemote Work:This position operates on a hybrid work model.Additional Notes:This opportunity does not include relocation.
