Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our IT team. This position is very client-focused and requires the ability to resolve complex business technology issues. Key Responsibilities Include: Receive and respond to escalated support tickets Communicate with clients and deliver technical support via phone, email, remote chat, and in-person Reproduce, diagnose, and resolve technical issues encountered by clients Where required, provide advice and training to clients and Support Analysts Accurately log the support provided and time taken in the helpdesk software Travel to client sites to provide technical support or hardware installations Document solutions to the technical problems experienced in our internal knowledge base Work with the team to maintain our client''s documentation The Ideal Candidate Will Possess: Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT role Degree or diploma in a computer-related program at an accredited technical college Current IT Certifications would be a definite asset Recent Microsoft Associate certification (AZ-104, MS-500, MS-700 etc.) Or equivalent experience with the commitment to gain a Microsoft Associate certificate within 1 year Excellent working knowledge of Windows Desktop operating systems (Windows 10 and 11) Excellent working knowledge of MS Office 365 administration and configuration (Exchange Online, Office Online Apps, OneDrive for Business, and Teams, Entra ID) Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019 & 2022 administration Good understanding of WAN and LAN communications (switches, modems, firewalls, and routers) VMware, and Hyper-V Experience with hosted public DNS, Cloudflare, cPanel, SSL cert management. Working understanding of VPN and remote desktop protocols. Working knowledge of Android and iPhone iOS Experience configuring and maintaining Linux applications Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues Experience with Microsoft networking environment and troubleshooting operations Experience with Business Continuity related software such as Veeam, and Datto. Experience with security products such as EDR,MDR, DNS Filtering, Security awareness Training, email security, password managers, SIEM.
