Role Summary: The Finance Manager, FP&A Leader reports to Director of FP&A is responsible for managing team of FP&A Professionals This individual will drive business performance in the Home Health business segment through development of forecasting and analytic capabilities within the Company. This will involve development of driver based models for the home health segment and a streamlined consolidation process for the total Company forecast (Home Health and Specialty segments). Key Job Responsibilities: Planning and Analysis: Management of Team. Provide coaching and mentoring to the team and help inform and develop a standardized service level approach with the Director of FP&A. Forecasting Responsible for preparing Home Health operational forecasts working collaboratively with business leaders, as well as consolidated forecasts for review with Senior Management. Develop revenue and cost - driver based forecasting models; develop external Benchmarking/Market Analysis Collaboration with the finance team to complete required submissions and provide a detailed review of submissions for accuracy and consistency Financial Reporting Responsible for submission of all monthly & quarterly Corporate reporting as per deadlines by working collaboratively with the Finance team to complete submissions and provide a detailed review of submissions for accuracy and consistency. Including but not limited to: Sales reporting - detailed sales by line of business reporting Financial reporting - income statement, balance sheet, etc. Key metrics reporting - capital expenditure, headcount, etc. Develop Business Performance Reporting & Analytics Develop meaningful operational reporting (leading indicators for key revenue and cost drivers), monthly performance reporting to support business leaders in achieving results and in support of Controller team''s monthly reporting requirements Assist senior managers in developing presentations in line with Corporate and Regional requirements. Business Case/Pricing Models Streamline the business case process and develop a post mortem process for projects previously implemented - shift business focus to ROI and effectively communicating the risks and opportunities of proposed initiatives. Support business leaders in development of business cases. Develop pricing analysis for new contracts and/or RFPs and review contract financial terms Provide support to Business leaders for general Day to Day, Q&A or other ADHOC requests Analysis: Prepare analytics and presentations. Assess the impact of the analysis, identify conclusions, opportunities and risks, and make appropriate recommendations. Accountable for the delivery of complex technical financial analysis to support business results and decision making as assigned. Develop qualitative and quantitative analysis and prepare metrics on assigned business problems and/or opportunities. Evaluate the financial results of ongoing business strategies. Perform ad hoc analysis as assigned. Reporting: Prepare internal reporting for period end close processes (i.e. program profitability, income statement reviews, detailed cost reports, etc.) focusing on: Detailed review of reporting for accuracy and consistency Highlight any anomalies to the Finance team Work collaboratively with the Managers to review any risks and/or opportunities Complete financial presentations for executive meetings Responsible for submission of all monthly & quarterly Corporate reporting as per deadlines by working collaboratively with the Finance team to complete submissions and provide a detailed review of submissions for accuracy and consistency. Including but not limited to: Sales reporting - detailed sales by line of business reporting Financial reporting - income statement, balance sheet, etc. Key metrics reporting - capital expenditure, headcount, etc. Develop and prepare internal reporting for business unit managers to drive the business performance and results of the company by: Working with the Managers to ensure value added reporting is available to make sound business decisions and understanding of the business results Work with the Managers to standardize reporting between multiple business units. Location: Mississauga, ON (Off QEW Erin Mills Exit) - Headquarters Flexible Work from Home Arrangements post COVID with office small Office in Markham that can be worked at from time to time. Salary Range: Based on Experience plus Bonus (10%) based on experience Requirements: A university degree in business (or related discipline) from a recognized and accredited educational institution Recognized professional designations; CPA Experience with CRM, NAV and PeopleSoft, an asset Advanced Microsoft Office Skills-Expert in Excel A minimum of five years relevant FP&A experience in a large complex organization Strong business acumen with solid experience in business management, operations, financial planning, performance measurement and budgeting functions Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial issues to a broad and diverse audience, strong presentation skills Ability to work and thrive in a changing environment while experiencing financial constraints Capacity to build partnerships, work collaboratively and effectively communicate to diverse groups both within and external Recognized as ethical and independent, demonstrating high standards of professionalism and respect for confidentiality
