Job Description

The Food & Beverage Leader is a total foodie enthusiast who proudly leads a team of smoothie bar/cafe associates in the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department. These leaders are responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent member experience. They have a knack to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff, and finance. They pride themselves in achieving sales goals that maximize revenue through customer satisfaction and team member engagement. While the majority of your time is spent supervising and directing the workforce, you are also experienced and comfortable with getting your hands dirty and handcrafting specialty beverages during busy shifts. You are passionate about leading a team, are friendly, outgoing, and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. You are incredibly attentive and provide continual coaching and mentorship to all food and beverage associates. With the help of your smoothie/caf associates these organized leaders create and maintain a clean, safe, and exciting environment within the food & beverage department. As a Food & Beverage Leader, a typical day might include the following: Educating team members on consistently delivering a five-star experience Maintain inventory and replenish supplies Clean and sanitize equipment and cafe areas Reviewing time off requests, vacation days and prepare food and beverage associate schedules Assist with recruitment and selection of all new F&B associates Conduct new hire training To land this role you need to have; 3+ years in the customer service industry At least 1+ year in the food and beverage industry as a manager Post-secondary education relating to the health and fitness industry and additional certifications or workshops relating to customer service are an asset All management/leadership team members are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually. All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
