OVERVIEW The Director, Medicine Health Service, under the leadership of the Chief, Acute Care Programs (Medicine and Surgery), is accountable for the clinical, technical, educational, human resource, financial, and operational activities associated with the Medicine Program at Michael Garron Hospital. This includes oversight of six inpatient Medicine units, encompassing more than 220 acute care beds, and works in partnership with the Chief, Department of Medicine, and Division Head, General Internal Medicine, to advance clinical excellence, quality, and innovation in care delivery. The Director is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate care; driving performance in quality, patient experience, and flow; and fostering collaboration across hospital and system partners to support an integrated, patient-centered model of care. EDUCATION - Master''s Degree in a relevant health or administrative field required. - Current registration with professional college/association, if applicable.
